The Okanogan County Historical Society has a wide variety of books and other publications relating to the history of the county. These publications are for sale and can be purchased at our research facility in Okanogan (address below). Proceeds from the sale of these books is directly applied to a continuation of the society's operations.
Books and publications may also be purchased by mail. To order, send a letter or email indicating the list of items wanted, along with contact information where we can reach you regarding the total amount of your order (with tax and shipping) and arrange for payment. Payment must be cash or check only-- we cannot accept credit card payments at this time.) Your order will be shipped as soon as payment is received.
The Society has an extensive collection of many thousands of historic photographs, including the Ladd and Matsura collections. Many are already indexed, and work is underway to index the rest.
Prints of these historic photographs, on photo paper, can be purchased. Digital images are supplied for commercial usage only.

Interested in exploring your family history? The Okanogan County Genealogical Society is housed in the Research Center along with the Historical Society. Their libary collection offers a variety of local and national resources, as well as general reference materials to aid you in genealogy research.
Help is available for those wanting to do genealogy research. We have a member of the Okanogan County Genealogy Society available on Wenesdays between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to assist you in your research.
The Okanogan County Genealogical Society will hold the last meeting for this summer June 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., and will resume meeting the first Thursday in September. The location is at the Research Center. If you are interested in becoming a member the annual dues are: $20.00 Family, and $15.00 Single.
