Shafer Historical Museum

“The Shafer Historical Museum offers an incredible collection of Methow Valley's pioneer history. Original historic buildings and artifacts are on display, and hundreds of photos and documents are in the collection. The museum grounds and outdoor exhibits are available for self-guided visits all year; the buildings are open and hosted by staff from May-September. The archives and tours for groups or individuals may be arranged by appointment, dependent on docent availability.

Molson Museum and Old Molson

Indoors and out, the Molson Museums’ hands-on exhibits showcase local history in much loved Molson, Washington. Follow us on our website for hours and directions.

Conconully Museum

“The Conconully Museum opened in 2003. Visitors can view the past when Conconully was the county seat and one of the largest county towns in the early 1900s. In 1903 Japanese photographer Frank Matsura arrived and worked here for several years before moving to Okanogan.

Okanogan

Inside the museum a series of dioramas, models, photographs and displays of relics tell the Okanogan story from early geological to modern times. Outside visit our outdoor Old West town of the early 1900s and south past the Wilson Research Center visit a replica of the Old Okanogan Fire Station with a vintage fire engine and other artifacts from the time period.
